Q.

Hi, my daughter is 5.10 years old and most of the time she prefers my MIL over me. I was working woman and I have quit my job a month ago and I still don’t see her choose me over my MIL. Is this normal? I often hear few words like “I don’t want this mamma” “I don’t like this mamma” and this hurts a lot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A. Mam Jio child is 5+ for so many years of a young age of your child your mother-in-law has nurture the child so the child is obviously going to be more attached for the child everything the smallest need of your child was full fit by the grandmother obviously it’s a normal thing you don’t have to feel so you just have to talk to your child and say I was busy I was earning money for your well-being try to put your side of the story to the child tell your child how important was that situation where you had to work leaving the child behind if you start doing it talking to your child showing the positive side it will help also take help of your mother-in-law she should also tell the same thing to the child will understand the perspective because the child is more close to the mother-in-law
