Q.

Hi, My daughter is 4years old. For past one week she is telling that there is pain in forehead. I am afraid what could be the reason as TV watching and mobile usage also reduced and her sleep routine in night is between 11 or 12 pm to 8.30 AM and in afternoon between 3 PM to 5 or 6 PM. I am worrying about her headache and i am really felt bad on what could be the reason. Can someone please help here

A. there are multiple causes of headache in children and for immediate relief you can give paracetamol which is a good painkiller also. see that the child is consuming plenty of fluids because many times less water in the body can cause headache. the other common causes are nutritional deficiency as well as anemxia and decrease sleep and more screen time if going on according to age. paracetamol can be given maximum four times per day but if the prxoblem is occurring again and again please visit the doctor to rule out any major pathology
