Hi my daughter is 4.5 months old and doctor had prescribed trifer iron drops 0.5 ml to be given for 150 days. Is it mandatory? I had this doubt as vitamin d drops is prescribed by all doctors but iron drops are not prescribed by all doctors. Hence the doubt. Thank you

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. babies 4.5 months old so yes whenever you shift from mother milk to solid food out of its identification C can occur so to cover it up doctor usually give iron drops to baby
