A. hi...My baby stopped waking up for feeds on her own by the she was 1.5yrs but before sleeping the feed she took I wanted wean her off. So when she 2.3yrs I decided now it's time to break this habit so I told her one night you are big now. U don't need it. Big girls don't drink mumma's milk n all. She started crying n it continued for 15-20 mins but I kept consoling her n started narrating a few stories n she slept. Next day also I did the same thing n this continued for 4-5 days. After that she stopped asking for milk n slept peacefully listening to stories. you can try this.

A. Make nursing part of the bedtime routine. ... Gradually reduce the length of your overnight nursing sessions. ... Increase quality time during the day together. ... Get your partner involved in overnight feedings! ... Talk to your toddler – and gently tell them no.
