Q.

Hi, my daughter is 2 year old, she has a severe teething ache Last whole night she couldn’t sleep, she cried all night She did not even eat anything from last 2 days We gave her ibugesic and also giving her calcarea but nothing works well for her Pls suggest something

A. for oral cavity pain / dental pain you can give paracetamol to the child and if it is not improving you can go for syrup ibugesic also. please try to maintain hygiene of the oral cavity and if the child is having dental carries then a dental examination will also be required. meet your paediatrician who willx tell you whether examination by the dentist is required or not and will also rule out any type of local pathology which might be causing pain

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. But it is really very difficult to say anything without proper examination of the baby. It is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly.
