Q.
Hi, My daughter is 2 months 25 days old.. she is passing little blood with stool. So doctor told me it’s due to cows milk allergy and so I need to eliminate all milk and milk products from my diet as I am breastfeeding her. May I know how long it would take for the blood to stop in her stool. Has anybody faced the samething, can u let me know about ur story pls.. Thanks a lot in advance.

ExpertKanika AroraNutritionist5 years agoA. hello dear mom it is better to avoid giving cow milk to the child before one year of age as a mother have lots of fluid and fiber in the diet and include three proper healthy meals a day ...if you feel the baby is having problem because of intake of curd and all you can try to avoid it for sometime

Syeda SalmaMom of a 5 yr 5 m old girl5 years agoA. Hi, yah my baby was suffered with same problem,when she was 45 days old baby,i used different types of formula,bcoz of low breast milk,doctors suggested me neo cate formula for my baby,it helps my baby from milk allergy.

PraghnaMom of a 5 yr 6 m old girl5 years agoA. no blood but one of the cows milk allergy symptom is motions. bloody stool can also be expected. try avoiding dairy for few days and see.

PraghnaMom of a 5 yr 6 m old girl5 years agoA. Yes my child had recurring motions until I stopped dairy in my diet. it took two weeks to clear dairy in my system. then motions stopped.
