Q.

hi. my child is six months old. I have started solid foods for him. however due to this his potty colour is quite weird. it is basically same as the colour of the food he eats. is this normal

A. give regular diet as per age of the child. when the growth of the child is proper and child is not having any other complaints and stool consistency is semi solid to solid then do not worry aboutx the frequency, colour as well as the smell of the stool. when hard / dry or watery consistency stool is present then only meetx the dr.

A. yes since baby starts consuming solids their poop colour may vary based on the food they consume

A. Yes that usually happens suppose if you’re giving something red pink or green something like that the poop colour can change in most of the cases sometimes you may see the urine colour also also change in the colour of the food is extremely dominant like be beetroot or something like that
