Q.
Hi, My child is now 9 months old , last night we saw blood coming from his gums, my concern here is whether is is sign of teething or some other sign of problem which need to be consulted

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist5 years agoA. Incase it was just a drop or two it is fine and might be one of the rare symptoms of teething. if the bleeding was more and there was no evidence of any trauma then it is better to visit a pedodontist and get it checked once.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl5 years agoA. hi as you have mentioned that you find bleeding from gum,it is not sign of teething,it might happen because of injury. so,you can apply turmeric powder on it. offer soft food like khichdi,rice ,upma, fruits like banana , chickoo etc to your child. provide apt sunlight atleast 20 minutes a day. maintain good hygiene.
