Hi,. my child is 2 months old.. his navel suddenly bulged past 1 week. we worry much. how to avoid . if we press it goes inside, and bulge once we release

cheshta ganotraMom of a 4 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. you need not worry about it. it is umbilical hernia.it regresses on its own in 4-5 months. just keep a watch on it. if it doesnt regress, you may consult your paeditrician.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. probably your two months baby is having umbilical hernia the reason for sudden bulging around the navel area no need to worry about this as the baby will be growing in age will become normal
