A. Dear parent, if your baby is active, alert, passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours, achieving all growth milestones, has doubled the birth weight by 6 months then milk supply is sufficient. After completion of 6 months, you should introduce top food. You can give foods like porridge, kheer, homemade cerelac, fruit purée. Then dal rice with vegetables, khichadi, curd. Later mashed paneer. Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible. Beginning with 3-4 teaspoons, give top food 2 to 3 times a day and up to half katori every time. Continue to breastfeed.
