Q.

hi my baby was 1.4 years old. still didn't close soft spot. is there 3 finger place. please any suggestions me

A. they are fontanelle and usually they will close by maximum 18 months of age and only sometimes by 2 years of age. they are normally present in all infants and is important for the development growth of the brain it is important to see that the child is not suffering from calcium and vitamin d deficiency as well as the child is not having any other complaints becaduse their deficiency is the common cause of delayed closure of fontanelle. d

A. Richard actually go by the time of 17 to 18 months on the higher side if it does not fill up by that much of a time then you would require to consult a paediatrician regarding this Dil be able to help you further on the issue
