hi, my baby turned 7 months recently.... can I give her daliya? also what is dailya? and how do we make it?

A. Hi .daliya is broken wheat.. you can give Daal Khichdi with adding variety of veggies like Spinach, potatoes, beans, carrot, pumpkin, broccoli... Give Ragi , makkhana, rice, porridge adding fruits like peach, pear, apple, avcado, banana... Give wheat Dalia adding veggies. curd rice, curd roti(soaked), Daal roti(mashed and soaked) is one of the best meal for babies.. You can add few drops of ghee and dry fruits Powder in each preparation to enhance nutritional value.

A. yes you can hi give her daliya or porridge. mash the porridge properly before feeding and add boiled and mashed vegetables to it. add a bit of salt for better taste.

A. By 7 to 9 months, your baby can begin trying new textures, like semi solid food , and finger foods. give khichdi, daliya, upma,dal rice with ghee and boil mashed potato, wheat halwa, idli with dal, veggies purreee, some fruits like mashed Apple, bananas sweet potato, chickoo. However, you should avoid nuts, grapes, and small food items that cause your baby to choke. And, you don't want to give your infant honey or whole milk until after her first birthday. give meal in gap of 3to4 hours also give two times breastfeeding to baby.. start giving food in small quantity you can take help of YouTube videos for daliya recipe
