Hard stools are due to lack of water and fiber
Include soluble fibers like fruits, oats, fresh green vegetables beans in the diet of the child
Water intake should also be monitored and increase if it’s very less u can give water in form of coconut water, buttermilk, lemon water, fruit juices, smoothies and soups
Also check for gluten or lactose intolerance with your doc as they also cause hard stools and constipation
