Q.

Hi, My baby just completed One year and having diahhrea for past 5 days. Doctor gave medicines abd also recommended to give Easum. Can I introduce Easum during Diahhrea ?? please Reply. Is it good ??

A. Can I introduce Easum ?? Because My doctor suggested to give Easum , thrice a day. please reply

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics has their role only if it is bacterial infection . fovvr this doctor guidance is necessary .
