Q.

Hi, my baby is one month old. I have flat nipples, it was very difficult for the baby to suck. I started giving formula milk as I couldn't feed him to his full diet. Then I started using breast pump, and feeding him breastmilk through bottle. It helped to better shape my nipple. But he got so used to the bottle that he stopped trying to suck directly. Now breastmilk is significantly reduced as I am not directly feeding him. I am really worrried. Is there anything I can do now to increase breastmilk and make him drink it

A. whenever you will be feeding the baby with bottle milk naturally baby prefers to take only from bottle since it is a easy flow you may use a nipple shield to feed the baby
