Hi, my baby is not sleeping on bed. She is 2 weeks old girl. In the morning she had too many poops. I took a bit more than usual sugar in my diet yesterday night. So i thought that could be the reason she was having too many poops. But now poop has stopped. But still she is not sleeping on her own, but only on lap.

if she poops more than six times a day and or poop is watery then please keep her well hydrated by giving her breast milk every two hours and also as per her demand

it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also. 
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day. 
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency das well as the colour (the colour dcan range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes
