Q.

hi My baby is not gaining weight. Shes 8.2kg. Is it a cause of concern. Although she's very active. What can I give her in diet to gain weight?

A. can do deworming.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.To increase weight you must add high energy foods like eggs paneer , soya , ghee in rice , khichdi etc.this will boost him ok.See it looks ok only.but if you doubt then for your satisfaction show to a doctor there as they can examine the patient and give even a better opinion in this case .

A. Hi mommy Give healthy protein rich nutritious food take seasonal fruits and vegetables which is rich in all minerals and vitamins maintain hydration Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc Give ultra D3 drops and calcium supplements Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment
