Hi my baby is going to be 2 months old in 4 days. There’s been white patches around her neck. I consulted the doctor, she said it will be okay in 3-4 months. Please suggest what is this. Attaching pic

Author of questionMom of a 6 yr 1 m old girl5 years agoA. Thanks for the reply. Should I keep the area well moisturised 2-3 times a day as the area seems to be very dry or apply any ointment? How long it will take these patches fade away and what precautions should I take? Btw I’m using Cetaphil baby daily lotion for her body.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children5 years agoA. generally this type of hypopigmented lesions will subside as the baby grows there is no need to concern continue to breastfeed your baby take care for hydration you can give some vitamin drops also
