Q.
hi, my baby is 9 months old, today I see some white spots on her thigh and lower abdomen. what needs to be done in this case Or should I visit the clinic?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application. they will persist for few weeks and then will go away if the problem continues beyond two weeksf and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation. some times it canf be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

She could probably be due to dryness apply any good cream or moisturiser thrice in a day and see if it starts subside over the period otherwise it could be associated either with deficiency of calcium or worms in the stomach when that case you will have to have an assessment with your doctor
