hi... my baby is 9 months old... n from last 2 days she is getting some sticky thing in her eyes. what should I do..?? I am already putting breastmilk drops in her eyes but it's not helping

Richa GuptaMom of a 9 yr 4 m old girl8 years agoA. mucous secretion from eye could be a sign of eye infection. though breastmilk has antimicrobial properties but it's rich in sugar also providing a good breeding ground for microbes. consult ur pediatrician for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Samidha MathurMom of 2 children8 years agoA. hi, sometimes it happens due to the cold... so dab a cotton in lukewarm water.. squeeze it.. and clean her eyes gently.. this will give her a relaxation and it will help to get this thing cured.. and also gently. press the bone between the nose bone and eyes... (that end where this sticky thing is ) .. i guess u understood the point... it will get cured.. don't worry.. take care
