Q.

Hi My baby is 6month old and vomiting for feed so doctor suggested for urine culture test It shows occasional pus cells,occasional epithelial cells and gram negative bacilli isolate 1 : escherichia coli count : >1,00000/ml docotr told to do USG abdomen...we are so worried did anyone face this ..not sure how she got infected...kindly suggest what are the complications and suggestion for recovery

A. e.coli is quite infective but with proper treatment.. it will be all normal. please give only breastmilk.. mother should strictly avoid unhealthy food. maintain hygiene. limit use of diapers. take medication as advised

A. blood test shows serum creatinine is 0.2mg/dl is this normal or any problem
