Q.
Hi , my baby is 55days old. he has got white patch on his chin . there is no irritation, itching or fever. is it normal or do I need to consult the doctor immediately?. I have attached the pic for reference.

Most of the times white patches come due to fungal infection or due to nutritional deficiency and very rarely due to skin disorders.
Ideal thing would be consulting a dermatologist

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. hello this can be due to the dryness of skin so make sure to apply the mild and Gentle baby face cream or lotion .. if this does not help then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
