Hi, My baby is 5 months old ( today's the 6th month starting) ,may I know if it is mandatory to start solids in 6th month itself or we can wait until 8th month to start solids. if solids need to be given please advice what can be given to the baby in early days

A. The child has to be six months complete and by beginning of the seventh month you should start giving food to the child and yes it is important because the child will be in the stage to eat the food as milk is not going to be enough till the age of eight months
