A. You should always consult your doctor if you have noticed blood in your baby's poop. If the baby is normal and does not show any signs of external discomfort, schedule an appointment and discuss the appearance of blood with your doctor. It can be due to anal fissure. If your baby is consistently passing blood in stools, it needs to be evaluated correctly. If if has been an isolated incident, keep a watch and always keep your doctor in loop for any changes in stool.
