Q.
hi my baby is 4 month 3 days old, after consulting doctor for cough and cold they gave medicine, by using medicine baby is vomiting immediately. kindly suggest the medicine putting process and after feeding how long later the medicine has to be given or can we give feeding after giving medicine to him.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussirves medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fefyver is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
