Hi, my baby is 3 year 7 months old. He is suffering from recurrent cold, cough and fever. What medicines should be given for cough and congestion? plz guide

Cough and cold can we because of some allergic reaction in the body most of the time it is viral in the origin need to give symptomatic treatment first like steam inhalation and somge home remedies cough expecctorant may be required along with anti allergic medications
