hi my baby is 3 months old her poo is having foul and stingent smell ..is there any problem..what to do

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. Smelly poop for babies depends on many things. In the first few weeks of like if your breastfed baby poop smells bad, it may be because of the food you are consuming dairy products. Whatever it is you consume affects your baby's bowel movement, so if you eat a lot of gas-producing food - like broccoli, wheat, and more - your baby will feel gassy too. And where there's gas, there's oodo.But in general, formula fed babies have smellier poop than breastfed babies. If your baby takes medication like antibiotics than it also be the reason of smelly poop.

s madaanMom of a 10 yr 3 m old girl7 years agoA. suggest you to kindly check with the doctor because sometimes it is due to upset stomach in babies and sometimes it is because of cough and congestion that there will be smell on and sticky
