A. Hello Mum, At this point breastmilk is the complete wholesome food and nutrition your baby needs. Please Breastfeed her on demand and let her decide the nursing duration and frequency. From 6 months completion onwards, you can offer all family food minus salt and sugars, steamed veggies, fruits, rice, dal, idly, dosa, roti, kichdi, curd. Ripe fruits just hand mash, steamed veggies, rice & dal with veggies. You can slightly overcooked/hand mashed if required. Roti, idly, dosa, parantha, etc small bite sized pieces in curry, gravy, sambar, rasam, curd, etc. Normal family cooking oil, ghee or unsalted butter can be used. Finger foods can also be given. Let the baby decide the quantity of whatever food is offered. Please do not offer same food everyday. Offer a lot of variety. Do not add salt, sugar, jaggery, honey, palm sugar, Dates syrup.

A. Hi, No, please don't give any food other than breast milk or formula milk until the baby is 6 months. It's not advisable or safe. The baby's digestive system will not be strong enough to digest even the semi solid food. You should not even start giving water until 6 months.

A. Nestum Is not recommended for a 2 months old. Nothing should be given except breast milk or formula milk at this age. Till the child completes 6 months, continue giving exclusively formula milk or breast milk and after that you can start with semi solid or solid. Even water is not recommended before six months.
