Q.

Hi, my baby is 2 months 6 days old ..his head seems to be little bigger compared to body height...what should be the ideal head circumference of 2 months baby? and when should baby hold his head ideally... please answer me... thank you!!!

A. If head is larger than expected then need to examine with good pediatrician once At birth Generally full term baby have their head circumference 34-35 cms Head circumference will increase by 2cms per month for first 3months of age and Then 1cms for next 3months till 6months of age After 6months of age head circumference will increase by 0.5 cms per months till 1yr

A. at birth generally it s 35 cm... then increased 2 cm per month for 3 mobths... if u feel it s larger plz show to pediatrician fo taking head circumferene and examination of the child..
