Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 11 m old boy5 years agoA. tonsils are part of the body. in children specifically they get enlarged due to repeated infections. the enlarged tonsil will decrease in size only after a specific age. most commonly regress by 7 to 8 years of age.the child is not having any problem of pain fever and difficulty in swallowing then do not worry about the size and colour of the tonsils.
