hi..my baby is 11 days old and she is having red dots in neck area..as per my mother in law it is called masi pisi in Bengali and its normal..but I am not sure should I take my baby to doctor..please guide

It would be an allergic reaction or a fungal infection or simple prickly heat. can’t be diagnosed unless looked at directly .if the baby is uncomfortable with it,use calamine lotion or medicated moisturiser consult a paediatrician or a dermatologist as per your convenience

Sneha PuruswaniMom of 2 children6 years agoA. Yes you can once consult your paediatrician and he will guide you better. Wear loose cotton or linen clothes and change twice or thrice a day. Keep the baby clean hygienic hydrated. Give plenty of water to the baby
