Q.
Hi my baby is 10 days old.she got phototherapy after which she has become 3 shades darker and lips dry and darker..is it normal and what can be done for her dry lips?

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent, yes there are Chances for complexion to turn dark after photo therapy. Because baby is under lights that helps to bring bilirubin in level. And that affects the complexion.
You can only help in improving skin quality by feeding your baby.
And dry lips is a sign of dehydration. Feed your baby every 2 hours.
Use Babyhug cream for your baby.
