Hi my baby is 1 yr 5 months today I got her vaccinated 1 n half yr vaccination she have got fever I am giving calpol 250 syrup her weight is 9.5kg how much dosage should I give and how many times a day

A. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximums 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues besyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever 0

A. It is 1.5 ML and only right now that’s the correct dosage that you can offer to the child so you can repeat it after every six hours and if the fever is much you can do cold sponging as well that also helps a lot in reducing out the temperatureWrite Your Answer Here
