Hi, My Baby is 1 year and 1 month old, she is suffering from cold and cough since 1 week, we tried to clean mucus with suction but she is not cooperating at all to any means of cleaning mucus in nose as well as mucus in throat due to which she is getting cough, could you please suggest if there is any alternative way?

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician2 years agoA. there are bulbs available or you can first give steam inhalation and when the mucus liquify try to clean it Hi parent give saline nasal drops and steam inhalation with baby rub avoid exposure to cold weather if the problem perissts kindly consult your doctor for proper examination and medication maintain hygeine in the area clean with Luke warm water maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output
