Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. sleeping pattern in small children changes from time to time but will improve with increasing age of the child
you have to just see for any environmental factor which is affecting the sleep like temperature variations as well as the child might be having some digestion problem or breathing difficulty due to nasal blockage has to be looked into.
if the growth of the child is proper dgo not worry much about the sleeping pattern of the child as it always improve with time
you can invcrease the physical activity during the daytime as well as avoid more sleeping time during the day time and this will help in improving the night time sleeping time .
Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear Infants up to 3 months old should get 14–17 hours of sleep over a 24-hour period, says the National Sleep Foundation. Many will have settled into a daily sleep routine of two or three naps during the day, followed by a longer "sleeping through the night" stretch after a late-night feeding.
