Q.

Hi, my baby has a speech delay. We have consulted with a speech pathologist, who recommended attending speech therapy sessions for six months to help improve his speech. Right now, he says fewer than five words. Earlier, he used to say around ten words, but it seems like his vocabulary has decreased over time. The pathologist also mentioned that it's too early to determine if he is autistic — we will have to wait until he is around three years old for a clearer understanding. I’m feeling really scared and nervous about all of this.

A. He understands everything and follows simple instructions. We play together, and he has recently started going to daycare. There, he interacts and mingles with other children. The speech pathologist has advised us to stop sending him to daycare and requested that he attend speech therapy sessions daily. From our side, we have expressed that we cannot stop sending him to daycare because he loves being around children and playing with them. He usually points or gently pulls us when he wants something. We understand that he has some speech difficulties, but it seems there are no other issues. Honestly, the pathologist’s advice has made us a little worried. Thanks

A. I think this is the most rubbish advisor doctors given you please don’t mind me saying a child whose autistic or not can easily be determined between the age of six months to 12 months so right now if you want to see and understand whether your child is autistic or having a delay in natural understanding growth of the child look for it how well is your child following the command is your child making an eye contact is your child responding well to what you say if these things are there then your child is perfectly good does this speech is less but all the other things are also not in place and there is a higher chance that your child would be having a delay in mental growth of the child with a child does not understand things as per the age for that I would strongly recommend you take a homeopathic treatment for your child and please consult a child psychologist once
