hi my baby girl weight is 5.4 kg. she is 4 and half months old. pls suggest me her weight is normal or Low. And according to you uska weight kitna hona chahiye.

exclusively breastfeed till 6 months completed

meghali BorahMom of a 8 yr 4 m old boy6 years agoA. 5.4 kgs at 4 months is a pretty good weight. The current weight always depends on the baby's birth weight. whatever is the baby's birth weight it should be double by six months and triple by 12months. Babies loose weight after birth by 400 to 600 grams and regain it in a month or two and after that they gain weight by 700 to even 1 kg in a month. After six months the weight gaining process slows down a bit and it comes down 500 to 600 grams in a month. so you can now calculate it accordingly. Because following a chart for accurate weight will give you extra tensions . So always follow this to find out the correct weight of your child. Hope this helps
