Q.

hi my baby girl is 7 month old and I haven't done her rice eating ceremony. according to the religious belief I understood that girls annaprashan should be done in the odd number of months can we do the annaprashan on her ninth month and feed only breastmilk till then or should I give her cerelac before her annaprashan

A. well it is better to start offering semisolid food along with breastmilk.

A. thanks. can she be only breastfed till nine months. due to covid we weren't able to do it on her seventh month so is it okay to wait till nine month.?

A. hi usually one can start to offer semisolid food after completion of 6 months age. so as such there isn't any problem if you start offering semisolid food to your child. but if you want to wait till next few months ,if your child looks happy healthy and active, gains enough weight then you can wait.
