Q.

Hi.. my baby does poo almost after every feed … around 3-4 times a day, she is 6 month plus now.. and between 4-6 month she just gained around 600gms appx, she is teething too..me concerned about her weight. What can be done I think doing poo after each feed is absolutely not normal and this might be the reason for her less weight gain… please suggest doctor

A. Stool is normal but she does this daily..I mean daily around 3-4 times a day… her weight gain is not adequate due to this

A. if the consistency of the stool is normal that is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency of the stool. the frequency can vary for 4 to 5 times per daxy and sometimes the child will not pass stool for few days also. Also do no worry about colour and smell of the stool when stool conxsistency is semisolid to solid. you have to meet the dr only if it is totally watery stool or it is hard stool or the child is having pain while passing the stool
