Q.
Hi my baby boy is now 5 month old. Most of the times I feel my baby has high temperature. while feeding his mouth feels he is having high fever but on thermometer his forehead temperature comes to 98.5, 98.3, 98. Is this somethin to worry? shall I see a Doctor?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. no need to visit doctor.. baby’s have undeveloped thermoregulation system. Take off extra layers of clothes and blankets. Breastfeed it more often. Massage the body gently and soothingly. Keep room temperature comfortable

As long as your baby is active and healthy, accepting feeds, pass adequate urine 6 to 8 times in a day, showing no discomfort symptoms then nothing to worry about it. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil.
