Q.
hi my baby boy is 8 months old now. I want to give him makhana kheer. so which milk to use to prepare makhana kheer. as I am giving him formula milk. can I use cow milk to prepare makhana kheer for my 8 month old baby.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. you can use cow milk for preparing baby food.Give three meal and one snack a day Continue Giving bm/fm in between and on demand. You can give Daal Khichdi with adding variety of veggies like Spinach, potatoes, beans, carrot, pumpkin, broccoli... Give Ragi , makkhana, rice, porridge adding fruits like peach, pear, apple, avcado, banana... Give wheat Dalia adding veggies. curd rice, curd roti(soaked), Daal roti(mashed and soaked) is one of the best meal for babies.. You can add few drops of ghee and dry fruits Powder in each preparation to enhance nutritional value.

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. hello you can either be using bm! or infant formula milk while ypu prepare the kheer which should be better and also Do not give regular cow's milk until your baby is older than 12 months. It doesn't have the nutrition that infants need. bm or infant formula milk is best
