Q.

Hi , My baby boy is 8 month 8 days old,as mother milk is produced in less quantity i have been advised by doctors to continue formulae along with mother milk. But now after 6 months I started giving him stage -2 formulae milk twice a day ie is early morning and late night. Can you advice me whether I can continue with stage -2 formulae till 12 month or discontinue it gradually? Is it safe to use stage -2 formulae after 6 months? Are there any alternatives to formulae like buffalo milk or cow milk? Best regards, vidya

A. Of course you can continue with formula and if you want to discontinue then slowly reduce it down and in between you can start with Amul Taaza because after the age of six months you are advised to give tone pasteurised will give you want and buffalo and cows milk or full green packet milk can be given after the age of 12 months
