Q.
Hi my baby boy 9 months 22 days old. still he will not sit. if i make him to sit he will sit only 5 minutes due to he doesnt like to sit. i consulted doctor she said he is fine and give iron syrup. he is premature baby (35 weeks born) please suggest me im very much worried

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. it will be considered to be normal as per the age and according to the details you have mentioned if not associated with any other problems repetitively,you should not worry it does not require any kind of treatment or rmedicine
if you have any more doubt you can get exam8ination done once by the doctor available nearby and get further guidance regarding this.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. At 4 months, a baby typically can hold his/her head steady without support, and at 6 months, he/she begins to sit with a little help. At 9 months he/she sits well without support, and gets in and out of a sitting position but may require help. At 12 months, he/she gets into the sitting position without help.
