Hi..... my baby 7 months old now...when I give banana to her?..... if I give banana to her which type banana I started to her ..?

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. any ripened banana elaichi banana or any If your breast feeding your baby then continue to breastfeed at regular intervals and there is no need to give anything else apart from mother milk or formula milk to baby till he complete 6months of age as it is complete food that takes care of hydration as well as nutrition. After 6 month you can gradually start weaning with homemade easy to digest food items like rice porridge ragi porridge mashed fruits apple Puree, mashed banana chiku etc. But whatever you are introducing should be introduced gradually with a small amount

Shaista TarannumMom of a 16 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. you can give banana to the baby after completion of six months itself. give the smaller variety of banana which is called ekakki banana. give in the morning time preferably if you are giving fir the first time. banana is very good to avoid constipation. you can give regularly. only if baby has cough avoid fir a few days.
