Q.

Hi, my baby (2 years old, 11.7 Kg) has loosely formed stools, frequent motions(3-4 times a day) and loose motions in every few days . He is not having any fever, no pain, he is playful. But no weight gain in past few months. I have consulted doctor and he suggested pro biotic. He is fine after probiotic for few days but after that again the same problem. Any suggestions.

A. you have to meet the doctor again because a follow will be required to assess the condition of the child. the doctor will tell you whether there will bed same medicines to be continued or whether there will be change in medicationd for the child. also it will help in understanding the improvement of the child

A. You should get a stool test done for your child I think your child may be suffering with an infection which subsides for a while with the prebiotic that the doctor has advised you to go for but it again comes because it is not subsided completely out of the system so please get a stool test done for a better clarity on the issueWrite Your Answer Here
