hi my baby 1 year 3 month old he is not feeling well .he had fever.fever is coming and again and again,he is getting vomiting whatever we feed him like kanji,idly he is not eating well, there is no stamina for him he is always lying nd tired went to doctor nd gave medicine can u plz doctor suggest nd tell me wht to do nd how to cure it

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist2 years agoA. Hello mom if the fever is constant for the three days it is advisable to do a blood test and as he is quite lethargic. It is good to keep him hydrated. Initially with fluids such as ORS or coconut water or fresh fruit juices or vegetable soup, buttermilk or curd can be given. Give him only once when he is hungry and given small quantities only .
fluids actually can be just be given a few teaspoons over a period of time at regular intervals frequently .
alone with fluids itself he will be feeling little better and then gradually move to semi solid to solid soft food.
