Q.
Hi,my 7 weeks old baby boy is not pooping from last 3days and he is really becoming very cranky most of the time in a day and he keeps passing gas with bad smell. what has to be done for his constipation issue. I'm from vizag the temparature here is very hot ,can it be one of the reason for this problem?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr 1 m old girl4 years agoA. it s due to the problem of gas trouble in baby is common . give exclusive mother milk to baby . Avoid bottle feed and formula milk as it increases gassy trouble . Tummy time shall help . If baby cry then start drops gastica 1 ml . Colic pain is troubling baby mostly at evening or night . Start drops colic aid /meftal spas 0.5 ml for relief

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. I don't think that is the reason I would recommend that you should avoid giving banana at the child is constipated and you should try to give your baby honey with warm water
