Q.

Hi, my 7 month old daughter is having discomfort when urinating or pooping and the poop is too solid as well. can you please suggest any home remedies to ease her stomach discomfort or is it better to consult doctor

A. Hi, I had been through the same. I had found some relief for my son by introducing palak into his diet. Used to give him daal palak or khichdi with palak whenever he was constipated. Also try to keep a check on the food that's causing constipation for the baby so that you avoid that particular food/component during the constipated phase

A. always advisable to give adequate water to the baby and Constipation is very common in babies you have to modify the food which is more in fibre like green leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits like apple mango papaya banana etc
