Q.

Hi, my 6 month baby is not gaining weight. We are giving ragi porridge two times, rice dhal once, one type of fruit daily and formula stage 2 along with breast feeding. How much quantity does a 6 month old baby girl needs? We are concerned as she’s crying a lot while being given solids.

A. Hello dear parent! Give a gap of 2 to 3 hours between meals and breastfeeding. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy. Consult your doctor for further assistance. Maintain a good personal hygiene routine and follow your doctor’s advice

A. Continue giving good amount of send solids to the baby. Give sooji, daal ka paani and also fruits mashed. The issue could also be due to the formula you are giving. Give Aptamil Gold stage 2 formula milk. It's the closest to breast milk and has ingredients like HMO and prebiotics which improve gut health and digestion as well. It prevents colic issues as well.
