hi my 4 month old getting hiccups whenever he have formula milk both breastfeeding n formula as per foc advice

A. hiccups in children occur due to gas which is present in the stomach. during the5 feeding process child takes air along with milk and that air goes inside the stomach which irritates leading to hiccups. you have to offer feeding as well as do proper burping(for atleast 20 minutes) to decrease this problem and it is a self limiting problem

A. U See for hiccups absolutely normal and common with kids it does not matter whether the child is having formula feeding or normal feeling breastfeeding hick ups are going to come as and when they are going to come it is not got no connection with any kind of feeling and neither can you stop it
